New Horizons Probe approaches Jupiter

NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is approaching its encounter with the giant planet and will soon be sending some of the most detailed images ever seen of the mysterious world.

The space probe will come within about 2.2 million miles of the Jovian surface on Feb. 28, but the views should be great well before then. New Horizons mission scientists will begin posting new images of Jupiter about mid-January and will offer new pictures weekly.

View them on the mission's web site: http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/index.php
